Liturgical Ministry

The Diocese of St. Paul offers parishes access to trainers for liturgical ministries and liturgical music. We can also assist your parish in establishing an active liturgy committee. Please contact the Office of Pastoral Services for more information.

Children's Liturgy

The Diocese recommends these resources for Liturgy of the Word with young children:
... From Novalis: "Pflaum Gospel Weeklies". Weekly, full-colour format is current, fresh, appealing, and easy to use. Kids can write in them and take them home. Series available for preschoolers, grades K-1, and grades 2-3. Teaching guides are included. 32 weekly lessons will cost you $12 per child - for the whole year.

... From Liguori Publications: "Celebrating the Lectionary - God With Us". This weekly resource for your leaders includes a detailed planning guide and step-by-step session plans. This program is for ages 3-5, designed for pre- readers who are developing basic manipulative skills. Children are introduced to each session by Chris the Cat, and they will look forward to coming back each week. Black line masters are provided with photocopy rights. Cost is $99 (USD) for one year.
