God has a plan for each and every human being. He is constantly calling us and desires us to respond generously. Jesus said, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10) To follow Jesus means to have abundant life.
Each and every one of us is called to holiness. God wants us to be saints! But he calls each person in our own unique way. Some he calls to married life, some he calls to religious life as consecrated brothers and sisters, some he calls to the single life, and some he calls to be priests.
If you feel that God may be calling you to serve Him as a priest please respond generously to the call!
Or, if you know of someone whom you think may be called to the priesthood please let me know.
Prayer for Vocations
Heavenly Father, bless your Church and most especially your Church in the Diocese of St. Paul with an abundance of holy and zealous priests deacons, religious and seminarians.
Give those you have called to the married state and those you have chosen to live as single persons in the world the special graces that their lives require. Form us all in the likeness of your Son so that through him, with him and in him we may love you more deeply and serve you more faithfully always and everywhere. With the virgin mother Mary, we ask this through your Son, Jesus Christ.
